Department of Computer Science (B.Sc) in association with Middle East College (MEC), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman organized the First International Conference on Progressive Research in Quality Data Engineering ( PRIDE 2022) on 16 & 17 June 2022, The Inaugural is started with Prayer Song followed by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries of PRIDE -22. Dr. S. Umarani , Prof. & Head, welcomed the gathering and also she explained the History of the Department,  Achievements of Department of Computer Science, importance of Data Engineering and the need of Data Engineering in a comprehensive manner. The Conference theme is presented by Mr. D. Siva/ AP – CS Department.  He started the theme with the Neil Armstrong Quotes. He explained about the Objectives of the Conference.  Selection Process of the Manuscripts and also the Conference Proceedings Preparation.  Dr. N. Asokan , VP ( Academic) conveyed his wishes and welcomed the gathering individually. He also addressed about the Interconnection between Research and Knowledge and also added, the data analytics plays a vital role in various platforms and creating a insight for research.

 Introduction about our versatile person Dr.C.Sundar, Dean ( S & H) is given by Dr. R. Ramayadevi /AP – CS.Dr. C. Sundar, Dean (S&H) welcomed the gathering individually. In his speech, he appreciated about the continuous Placement Achievements of Department of Computer Science with dream offers. He praised about the Quality of Education and dedication of faculty members. He also admired the conferences research papers are received from Seven Different Countries. The Proceedings will be published with the ISBN Number, and best papers are going to be published in the Indexed Journal. He also discussed about the conference theme is more appropriate for Real world LIC and Telecommunication data managing problems. He finally concluded that this conference will help to give the solutions to different data oriented problems.

Dr. Smitha Sunil Nair/MEC, Introduced about History of the Middle East College and Research Activities of Middle East College. Students strength of the Middle East College and finally introduced about  Dr. K. Kiran, Dean, Middle East College.

Dr. K. R. Kiran , Dean /MEC , Welcomed the gatherings. He comprehended about the association with SRM IST. Middle East College is interested to have collaborative research with SRM IST students and faculty members. Emphasize on upcoming innovative programmes on handling data is the challenging era. The data engineering research to be contributed with inventive effort and finally congratulates the conference organizing team for endeavor the enormous effort for the conference.

Dr.Jebamalar Tamilselvi /Associate Professor -CS Department invited and introduced the eminent personality of our conference, Mr. Ganesh Muthuraman.

Mr. Ganesh MuthuramanDirector / Principal Cloud Solution Architect (Global Data & AI),Microsoft , USA discussed about the Data Engineering Concept. In his presentation he emphasized about, Data Preparation Time, Data Usage Time, Data distribution challenges, Data Integration Challenges, Data Access Control, Data Encryption, Need of Innovation in Data Engineering, Data Engineering Problems and Solutions and finally concluded the presentation with  Scope of Semantic Data Engineering in future.

Dr. S. Umarani , Prof. & Head / CS,  inviting  our   , Dean Dr. C. Sundar to release the conference proceedings and the conference proceedings is released by our Dean. The overall master of ceremony is done by Dr.  Surya Susan Thomas and Mr. U. Udayakumar. Dr. J. Seetha, AP – CS Dept proposed the Vote of thanks.

The Conference Inaugural Ceremony has come to an end with National Anthem.

Theme : Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

 Mrs.R.Priya , AP – Department of Computer Science, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Session chairs.

Session Chair of the Track 1 are Dr. Smitha Sunil Nair/MEC and Dr.P.Pabitha/Anna University.

 Mrs.T.Kanimozhi , AP, Department of Computer Science, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Session chairs.

Session Chair of the Track 2 are Dr.Gayathiri Monica (Professor, Department of EEE, SRMIST Ramapuram) , Dr.V.Kirubanand (Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Christ University, Bangalore)   and  Dr.A.Murugan ( Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Dr. Ambedkar Government Arts College)
