Non-working Women-House Wives, Higher Secondary Completed Students and Non-Computer Science students.

?Dr.J.Dhilipan, HOD(MCA) welcomed the gathering. He appreciated the participants for coming forward to learn the basics of computing skills. He also gave an overall introduction on the course plan of these two days and stated that two more advanced courses also will be conducted in future in the same field.

?Dr.Saravanan, VP Academic gave a felicitation address. He explained clearly on the prospects of learning ‘Content Writing’.

? Respected Dean(S&H) gave a special address. He spoke on the need of learning this course and appreciated the design of course content as they are being applied in everyday Life.

Various Sessions handled during this events:

Topic: Ms Word

?Resume preparation in MS.Word was taught. All the aspects of the software such as creating a word document, choosing font style and sizes, Inserting tables etc.,was discussed.

MS.Powerpoint

?The application of power point was discussed. A theme ‘About Chennai’ was taken and the art of making powerpoint based on this topic was taught. Transformation of resume writing taught in MS Word as PPT was also elaborated.

Topic: Digital Marketing

?Introduction to Digital Marketing was given . Discussion on Email filters, caller ID and digital video recorders were done. Digital Marketing strategies were also taught.

Internet Basics

? Basics of internet usage, Email and its benefits, Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo were also reviewed. She spoke on the usage of Google Meet, Google drives etc.,

Topic: Tamil type Writing

?The significance of learning Tamil type Writing was elaborated.

?Also she spoke about speech to text Tamil convertors.

? Typing Tamil letters using mobile was also explained.

Topic: Content Writing

? Introduction to content writing was given.

Do’s and Don’ts of script writing in social media, You tube making and procedure for uploading video was elaborated.

Topic: Advanced Excel

?Creation of spread sheet was explained . Menus, tools and built in functions of Excel was explained. The procedure for inserting graphs was also discussed.

Hands on training given to all…

? After the sessions the participants were issued Certificates .

? Group photos were taken in remembrance of the worthy occasion.

?The participants were very much satisfied and shared their feedback as they have learnt very essential concepts applicable in every day Life.
