DAY #1- 20-09-2020 -SESSION: FORENOON
Topic: ROLE OF IoT IN EDUCATION-The Future in your Palm-Connecting Today for Tomorrow’s Innovation-A IoT

He started the technical session by explaining about
What is IoT?
How devices are connected using a protocol
How we start sharing information over the internet.
He also highlighted the salient features of IoT in recent days
He continued to explain how learning was done few years back understanding the working principle of counters and clocks digitally
The session/online session was attended by around 442 participants/students.

TOPIC: ROLE OF MATHEMATICS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

♦ Dr. D. DATTA started the session with a brief introduction of the importance of Mathematics for students to elevate their career.
He started the technical session by explaining about
Maths will impart students with the art of reading, understanding and analyzing problem before coming up with a solution
All these skills are vital when it comes to programming and Computer Science in general
From such simple equations students are then introduced to complex algorithms in computer science.
He added that 90% of parents want to study computer science and 45% of high school teach computer science
In addition he added that how the first computer was introduced at 1943 and the first computer program was at 1843
