WEBINAR
On July 1, 2021 department of Visual Communication conducted webinar on Independent Film Making and Emergence of Digital Convergence. The resource person for the webinar Mr. Arunkanth V is a Solopreneur / Freelancer the sole proprietor of Info Pluto Media Works. Also he is an Independent Filmmaker, Music Composer, App & Magazine Publisher. He also runs his own Online TV Channel & Internet Radio to support Indie Content. The webinar was conducted to engage the students who got admitted and who have applied for the B.sc Visual Communication for the academic year 2021-2022. The webinar saw the participation of about 68 students.Mr. S. Parthasarathy HOD Viscom welcomed the chief guest and the participants for the webinar. Mr. Arunkanth V in his address to the students explained about independent filmmaking and the future of OTT platforms.The session was highly interactive and student participants learned the nuances and intricacies in film making. The webinar came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Ibrahim N Assistant Professor, department of Visual Communication.
