Webinar  Topic: Overcoming the Fear of Chartered Accountancy

 Department of Commerce organized Webinar titled Overcoming the fear of Chartered Accountancy on 11 th August 2021 from 11 AM to 12 PM. This virtual webinar was conducted to make the students overcome the fear of Chartered Accountancy. The speaker for the session was CA Gokul Raj, Managing Director, KEW Academy. Having more than 10 years of experience in risk assessment, Internal auditing & process documentation across varied industries globally, and Handles company law matters and internal audits of Gokulraj & Dinesh, chartered accountants. A Faculty by passion, CA Gokul Raj teaches Mercantile & Corporate laws at SIRC of ICAI and other private institutes for all levels of CA since 2012. Authored class room notes for CPT and IPCC curriculum of ICAI. He has presented papers on Companies act 2013 and Internal Audits at SIRC and its branches.

Description: The guest speaker motivated the students in overcoming the fear of chartered accountancy course. He insisted that students should have commitment, discipline and perseverance while doing Chartered Accountancy Course and intelligence is not important.

Program: Zoom link was circulated and more than 180 students participated. The participants interacted with the guest speaker and clarified their doubts on the Chartered Accountancy Course.

HOST: Dr.C.Nithya, Assistant Professor, hosted the event and introduced the chief guest with great excitement and after the splendid presentation by the guest speaker, Assistant Professor Dr. D. Vijayalakshmi delivered the vote of Thanks.
