A CAREER GUIDANCE TALK ON BIOTECHNOLOGY

The Department of Biotechnology, College of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus has organized A career guidance talk on biotechnology on 10.02.2023, 02.30 PM – 03.30 PM.

Venue:St.Dominic Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, St.Thomas Mount, Chennai for Higher Secondary Students.

Number of Participants: 150 Higher Secondary Students

            This program initially started with introduction of SRM IST and about Ramapuram campus. Followed by eligibility criteria to pursue under graduation study especially for B.Sc and highlighted the insights about biotechnology and their subjects. Seminar continues with the various fields and scope of biotechnology. Students were eagerly discussed about the opportunities of higher studies and research areas in biotechnology. Session was successfully ended with positive feedback given by the students and School management.Finally good interacted students were appreciated with pen as compliments. This seminar an important and enlighten the upcominggeneration to choose their path in meaningfulway. Talk was given by Dr.Suresh.S Assistant Professor (Sr.G)/Biotechnology, Introduction was given by Ms.Farheen Fathima, III year B.Sc Biotechnology.
