The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus has organized Lab on Live Demo – Awareness Workshop on Food Adulteration on 25.01.2023, 03.00PM – 04.00 PM.
Venue:The Holy Cross Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Valasarawalkam, Chennai for Higher Secondary Students.

The workshop started with a brief introduction on food adulteration, different types of adulterants used in food varieties, and importance of healthy food. All the students were participated untheatrically. Adulterant food samples were tested qualitatively by student coordinators Ms. Aishwarya, Ms. Jaishree R and Ms. Farheen Fathima, III Year B. Sc Biotechnology. Students undercolour change and dilutions.
The workshop was successfully ended with positive feedback given by the students and School management, since this topic is an important one for our future generation to lead their healthy life.
