Department of Computer Science with Skill Elevation Club organized Workshop On “Hosting Static Website on Cloud” on 14.10.2022 B.Sc CS Final Yr Students inBlock V – 5th Floor Lab. The Resource Person was Mr.M.Shakteeswaran, (Student) III B.Sc CS, Department of Computer Science, SRMIST, Ramapuram . Dr.V.Poornima, Assistant Professor presented the welcome address. Mr.M.Shakteeswaran, Resource Person III B.Sc CS started the session on cloud computing.He described how to configure a Cloud Storage bucket to host a static website for a domain. He explained what is virtual machine and creating the virtual machine in azure.He demonstrated how to buy the subscription in azure and hosting the static website.He also discussed about AWS Amplify and that provides fully managed hosting for static websites and web apps.Finally he explored that how to configure static website on Azure and AWS.and created PDF documents by running it. Then, the session opened to the audience to clarify their doubts. The entire session was more interactive and informative for the students.
