BRAND BUILDING WEBINAR SERIES ON

 The Department of Commerce conducted a Brand Building Events from 11th  January 2023 and 12th January 2023 titled “Skill Development and Commerce Education and Teachers Effectiveness in Digital Era” undergone exclusively for Higher secondary teachers from various schools from various cities. More than 62 teachers were participated from various schools such as Atlas Educational Institute (Dubai), D.A.V Mat Hr Sec School, Sudharshanam Vidyashram, San Academey, St. Mary’s School, St John’s School, Vijayanta Senior Secondary School, Maharishi Vidhya Mandir, The PSBB Millennium School, Swami Vivekanandha Matric Hr Sec School, Vidyaa Vikas International School, Little Flower School, Govt Hr Sec School, Assisi Mat Hr Sec School.

 

 

DAY 1 (11/02/2023)

TOPIC: Skill Development and Commerce Education

The Event was invocated by the Host, Dr.J.Sabitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, followed by the Welcome address and a short Introduction about the Technical Expert by Dr.T.S.Bhuvaneswari, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. Dr.B.Revathy, Commerce Expert emphasised Skill Development and Commerce Education to Higher Secondary School teachers, she explained how to develop the Communication Skill, Interpersonal Skill, Cognitive Skill, Conceptual Skill and also explained how to start various developing skills. She encouraged the participants to give special focus on skill development. She listed the various steps in skill development and also highlighted the action plan and arrange for training programmes for skill development. She explained deeply all the study areas in different aspects. Really it was a detailed description of the different strategies which definitely benefit to improve the teaching style over line from the beneficial from the harbingers and helps the teachers to develop teaching content. Finally the vote of thanks was propounded by Mrs.Anandhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.

TOPIC: Teachers Effectiveness in Digital Era

The Event started with Welcome address by Dr.J.Sabitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and a short Introduction about the Technical Expert by Mrs Anandhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. Dr.S.Senthilnathan Technical Expert invoked his speech by insisting the teachers to think from the view of future fruitful career. He explained about the 21st Century, the information age and imbibed with present technology. He also listed out about the Techno – Pedagogy to incorporating a variety of digital technologies and New media impacts. Finally the vote of thanks was pronounced by Dr.T.S.Bhuvaneswari, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
