Report

 

The Journal Club from the Department of English and other Foreign Languages of College of Science and Humanities conducted CRAFTING A LEGACY (STORY WRITING CONTEST FOR S&H STUDENTS) on 28-03-2023 at Block V, Room no.100 from 01:00pm to 02:00pm by Ms. M. Nathiya, Assistant Professor (O.G), Dept. of EFL. Ms. A. Mary Jasmitha Rose, III B.A English, President of the Club, Ms. B. Reshma, III B.A English, Vice President of the Club, Ms. S. Alagulakshmi, II B.A English, Treasurer of the Club coordinated the event. Dr.V. RemaProfessor& Head Dept. of EFL has acted as Judge and provided the following Guidelines to the participants.

* Craft a story with 5-6 photos.

*Based on Content, Theme Relevance and Creativity, prizes will be given.

*E-Certificate will be provided to all the participants.

*Fifteen minutes will be given for each student.

Over all 25 students from various Discipline enrolled and have participated in the contest. Competitions provide an opportunity for various participants to gain more experience, demonstrate their knowledge & skills, analyse and evaluate themselves. Finally, students gave feedback about the event and the Judge has finalized the prize winners from the participants. The Prize winners are V. Arun Kumar from III-B.A English has won 1st place, Hritish from I-B.ComCS has won 2nd place and FarhinShifa from III-B.A English hassecured 3rd place.
