“Industry Visit – Exploring Industry Insights”
The Department of Computer Science and Applications (MCA) organized an industrial visit for the final year BCA Data Science students on 14th July 2023. Dr. J. Dhilipan, the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Applications (MCA) and Vice Principal (Admin), made the necessary arrangements for the students’ welfare. The faculty members from the MCA department, Dr. R. Renuga Devi (Assistant Professor) and Dr. S. Subbiah (Associate Professor) accompanied the students on the industrial visit. The primary objective this visit is to provide students with an opportunity to observe and understand how data science techniques and methodologies are applied in real-world industry settings.
Mr. Vignesh, Team Leader, Pantech Solutions, T- Nagar Chennai, given brief introduction about the Company and their ongoing Projects. He Insisted the importance of visiting Industries. Explained about Industry Expectations from freshers and areas to be improved as an undergraduate student. Students got detailed information given about company projects and processes. Students Interacted with the Industry Persons, coordinated the visit properly. Students came to know about the Scope of the Data Science in future. The visit was much useful to students and actively participated.
